Overview
I was hired by Samsung Design Delhi primarily as a User Experience Designer, and I joined the Future Experience Part under the UX Team.
My work at Samsung involved new concept development, building structure around emerging interactions, and grounding ideas through research, system logic, and visual sensibility.
Over the period of 6 months, I got the opportunity to work on three future-forward projects across multiple platforms and disciplines, teaching me how to think beyond individual screens and design for behaviours, flows, and multi-modal experiences in a large-scale ecosystem.

Future Immersive Experiences in Visual Displays
Led end-to end advanced UX concept development, explored user journeys, systems design, and interaction frameworks to inform future multi-modal experiences.
Visual Identity for Galaxy Watch 9 Watch Face
Built visual identity from the ground up - from competitor benchmarking, qualitative analysis, heuristic evaluation, to scalable frameworks, motion cues, and design language.
Next-Gen Interaction Modality for Samsung's Portfolio
Conducted extensive UX research and brand study, developed interaction logic, behavioural patterns, and system-level UX flows for sensorial, empathetic experiences.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
From institution to industry
Inspired by humans, creating the future
"Inspired by humans, creating the future" was the guiding line at Samsung Design Delhi, and it shaped how I learned to approach design every day. My six months there were less about mastering tools and more about inculcating values necessary for an industry-ready, multidisciplinary UX Designer.
While every day at Samsung was an opportunity to learn, these are a few key takeaways that continue to influence how I think, work, and shape solutions for real-world problems:
Unlearning to learn - letting go of rigid assumptions, staying open, and constantly relearning based on the organization's philosophies and goals to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Human need and value led mindset - looking beyond features to understand what people value, struggle with, and how design can quietly support their motivations, contexts, and behaviours.
Evidence based storytelling - exposure to trend studies, insights and internal research helped me understand how evidence anchors a narrative, informs decisions, and strengthens outcomes.
Ambiguity to structured clarity - working through complex, undefined problem spaces and bringing clarity through frameworks, peer learning, and structured exploration.
Cross-functional collaboration - daily workflows with exceptional problem solvers refined how I communicate intent, absorb feedback, and move designs forward with shared ownership.
Consistency across ecosystems - working within a set design language helped me build coherence across platforms, create scalable solutions, and craft visuals that balance expression and discipline.

Throughout these three projects, I was subjected to various different digital platforms and media, hence pushing the limits of my area of expertise. While these projects have been worked upon under an NDA, I would love to discuss more about my experience, process, approach, and the values I picked from my time at Samsung!
